Bob Heydorn 

In Memoriam: 1946-2022

Bob Heydorn was raised and resided in Silver Lake Village. He received his secondary education at Cuyahoga Falls High School. He then attended the University of Akron, receiving a B.A., and did graduate work in political science at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. After serving three years of active duty (1969-1972) in the U.S. Army and attaining the rank of captain as a company commander, Bob returned to the University of Akron to study law. He was licensed to practice law in November 1975. After teaming up with his now-deceased partner, Orval Hoover, he practiced law in Cuyahoga Falls until his passing in April of 2022.

Chris Crull

Chris Crull was born and raised in Indiana. After graduating from high school, Chris enlisted and served in the US Navy from 1986–1990, achieving the rank of E-5. After leaving the Navy, Chris attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN, and earned a B.A. in English and Philosophy. From there, Chris attended Kent State University, where he earned a master’s degree in philosophy in 2000. In 2020, he joined with Bob Heydorn to form Heydorn & Crull.
